i need help on greade 5 intervals in theory and learning music scales

I have a new 13inch Macbook Pro so I obviously have Garage Band but I also bought Pro Tools and Logic Studio. I just got an audio interface and want to start recording and editing music but I’m not sure where I should start. Should I start learning GarageBand to understand the basics and then switch to ProTools/Logic or should I just start with one of the two more advanced programs?

example: The tonic or roman numeral 1 functions as what the song is built around

I don’t know if there are any sub-categories to indie rock, but I’ve found that that name covers a wide variety of music. I come from a more punk and hard rock background, so the livlier stuff (as opposed to the more mellow stuff) grabs my attention. I’m trying to broaden my musical horizons, so I’m hoping people can suggest bands to check out that I might like. Feel free to include that band’s best album so I know where to start. Thanks!

my computer does not have the technology to download stuff onto a dvd, but is there anyway i can make a slideshow of some sort with pictures, perhaps some video footage with music playing in the background and have it sent somewhere to be picked up and paid for?

We are now honored to feature their loving cut of My Morning Jacket, interviewed and live in concert on June 24, 2011. Here’s Scott: About our time with the band: We spent about 45 minutes interviewing the band. This is one of those happy stories where you meet your heroes and they are even cooler than you had hoped. They were unscripted, present, and exhibited a great esprit de corps both in the interview and onstage. I got the sense that they were appreciative of their fans. I’m an even bigger fan now and I hope the BB audience enjoys the extended 21 minute experience.
