You’ll Have To Wait For An Invite To Try Spotify In The U.S.
If Spotify does indeed launch in the U.S. this week, it looks like most of you will have to wait. Mashable is reporting that Spotify will be invite-only at first so the company can scale demand. (And there will probably be a lot at first.)

i’m getting my undergraduate degrees next year in two completely unrelated fields (psychology and economics). i’d like to do something along the lines of music editing. would i have to start all over again and get a different undergraduate degree? or is it likely for me to get into a master’s program (i know, a lot are very difficult to get into)?

Usually great music comes out of a recession. In this case it’s quite the opposite. Listen to Boom Boom Pow, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, this new terrible act Kesha. Stop drinking the Kool Aid people. None of these people play instruments and if they do it’s not in the music. Obviously this isn’t a blog, but am I the only one?

I’m having a little bit of trouble finding colleges that offer this. I find colleges that have just music for musicians, but I want the business end of it.
