This seems a lot more complicated than necessary. If you drag your loop from edison to the step sequencer, you can set your project tempo and then stretch your loop according to the lines on the sequencer. I’m not sure why you need to know the original tempo of the sample. Wouldn’t mind knowing though, I guess.
