You need someone with a lot of money. That’s why people get signed by record labels. The executive producer basically invests a lot of money to have someone recorded and all. Then the label promotes it. So you pretty much you to get signed, get a good lawyer, and have a good product. Honestly, I think the cheaper way would be to use the internet. You just have to have something unique that people will like and it’ll reach the masses.

There isn’t much good stuff on music video channels now but when there was I put in a tape and tape on SP. Then I would dub to another tape–that is I would dub the videos I liked also on SP. It is important to run your tape on SP on SLP or EP to have good quality.

idk. you should [try to] get signed. . . that would help. . A LOT. lol
& MTV does show Indie videos. . . BET doesnt.
and MTV TWO has specialist slots at midnight
you would have to check into that.

u can’t do it. BET used to show low quality videos late at night, but not anymore. MTV does a show called Advance Warning and they show it like once every 6 months late at night. you have to go get alot of fans. make professional music. if u get alot of fans, and promote your stuff on myspace, then they will be looking for you. chances are slim. the music game has alot of artists, but not many get picked up for celebrity status. do something different with ur music, but still make it fire. best of luck
