that’s hard to decide, indie has all sorts of sub categories these days. some older indie bands are The Smiths, Sonic Youth, Pixies and Radiohead though. i don’t think The Strokes are ‘indie’ but they’re a really good band that’s kind of on the same wavelength as these.
