I would like to be involved in the music industry and the music business when I’m older.
What should I major in to pursue this type of career?
You can major in music business. There are a lot of colleges that have great programs. Columbia in chicago is where I’m looking at right now, since i want to go into school for music business also. NYU has an amazing program that you should look into if your really serious, but you need hella good grades. One thing you should really consider when picking a college, is what type of business you want to do. There are tons. Audio Engineering, production, management. There as a looong list of music business jobs.

Although there are many other fine music business schools, the two top schools are Berklee College of Music and the Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business at Belmont University. Both schools have websites.
