@mynus303 I dont think it was intended to be some epic track. The video is showcasing what base techniques are learned for making minimal tech. Considering most of the instruments were albeton based -excluding microtonik – applying the same techniques to top notch vsti’s would produce solid results.

I like the vids to be honest.

@EspritDeMusique We believe the price is a fair one. Courses of this depth take significant time and resources to develop. You are also paying for the time of genuine professional producers (who have their other production and performing commitments) to anlalyse your own tracks each week and provide 1-2-1 video feedback. Investing in your own knowledge is a lot more astute then spending thousands on studio gear with no idea how to use it. I’d advise you to look at our student testamonial page.

@britishmikey the arrangement and track in general is great so it’d be mainly the dynamics ie eq, compression and mixing which you wouldn’t cover in great detail on an internet course. Then of course you could send it off to a pro studio for mastering where it would be given a final “polish” of eq and multiband compression to get it banging nicely.

DAMN! Nice, really nice indeed. Great Job
July 30th, 2010 at 9:28 am
@britishmikey the drums are low>>(not being negative just mean they dont pound right) everything is a bit static. use dramatic for your drums. the bass on the up beat is kinda weak and plain give it some proper sub treatment lastly there arent any real dynamics everything is rather flat CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM othrwse great attmpt maybe tease in smthng with a meldy just to give it a musical element even though its minimal
GREAT TRACK THOUGH GOOD JOB ONLY MY THOUGHTS

This video aims to demonstrate what is possible if you combine all the techniques taught on the Minimal Tech Pro Producer course.
On the course itself you will get a thorough explanation how to create these textures and effects through tutorial videos, extensive course notes and 1-2-1 feedback videos.

takin this a step further then, what would make this more professional sounding then? Would would seasoned pros be doing / not doing with this production to make it sound professional?
July 30th, 2010 at 6:36 pm
awesome track!
July 30th, 2010 at 7:28 pm
@smudga99 ok then, soz.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:46 pm
maybe a bit harsh fella, if this track is made an amateur doing an internet course (im assuming it is) it ain’t that bad, i agree it needs a bit more work to get it more professional sounding, but surely its supposed to be sounding raw it was made by a student not a seasoned pro.
July 30th, 2010 at 8:05 pm
This sounds too standard & raw. . . sorry but from an expensive school i expected more. Sounds nothing like a professional techno track.
