*This theme is fanmade* *update 7/20/10 ok, with the official piano collection being released tomorrow, there will be a lot of people coming to my videos asking why did I make a ffxiii piano collection that isnt relevant to the actual tracks in the game? I am an aspiring video game composer and I have always been a fan of final fantasy music. One day I decided to make my own piano collection to test my skills and see if I could make pieces on the same level as nobuo and hamauzu. I was sitting at the piano trying to come up with an idea and couldnt think of anything. Then I just let my fingers go everywhere on the keyboard, and somehow this song was created! Huh. . . well, now I’ve heard the official FFXIII piano collection. . . I think I like Max’s better. Which I’m astonished to hear myself saying (or, uh, typing). Sound quality isn’t quite as good, which is probably inevitable, but I think the interpretation is fantastic.

This is breathtaking. . . I actually listen to this while playing a battle in FF13, thats how magical this music is, 10 out of 10. Just goes to show that nothing can be as beautiful and mellow as a single piano?
1:36 till the end is my fav bit. . . that’s when the depth comes in and you cant stop appreceating the real beauty. . . you have gift sir.

Very well made! great composition! Also nice how you let the higher register melody line stay just a little machine-like (the tightness and timing of the notes), gives it a very fresh and modern sound. I’m a media composer myself and would like to hear more of your work!

May I suggest you say inspired by Final Fantasy XIII, that way on your resume or when you apply for a job they can see you are original
