Agreed! It is both important to have a feeling for music and also be able to explain theory – especially in order to be able to communicate about music while eg. writing a piece of music. However, in the end making a great composition all comes down to having a good feel for music through inspirations and having a good imagination!

how do you know they can’t anyway musical taste is purely SUBJECTIVE!!!!!!!!! having said that Indian music (sitar and all that) has enharmonic series of up 34 notes between an octave.. Watch a thing called “how music works” – by Howard Goodhall anyway the world in which we live in people would much rather listen to “FUCK” music than any other types – justin timberlake I’m looking at you – oh and madonna stole her act of Cyndi Lauper

Also this guy doesn’t know musical theory inside out it might be safe to assume that as we live in a infinite universe – nobody knows musical theory inside out as it’s an ever expanding subject.. although disney doesn’t want it to be that way…
