Is it ok to send a demo of my song to a record company in acapella?

My song have my own unique tunes. But i dont know how to play any instrument to give it a musical touch. Would record labels take time to listen in it in acapella?

Honestly, no. Even then, most labels don’t accept unsolicited packages. You gotta know someone either directly or through someone else. Learn how to use some music programs like Logic, Reason, ProTools, or even just GarageBand, and you can create your track on your computer. Don’t wanna take that time? Post around and hire someone to do it. If you’re sending in your song for someone else to sing it, you might wanna send it to a publishing company. If you have a specific artist in mind, perhaps send it to their manager or someone else in their entourage. If this is for you, get a manager, A&R, agent interested in you. They’ll know people. Hell, even people you know right now may have a connection to the inside. Just last night, I learned that my father has a friend who’s friends with the head of a record label in our area. Just make sure, no matter what, you get the song copyrighted before you send it off somewhere.

Good luck, and I hope this helped!
