@Innerrythem I am looking to buy a soundcard and when I look up the fast track pro reviews there are alot of complaints but greenday3840 and davidmeshow get brilliant sound quality out of the m-audio fast track pro !

I would not recommend this soundcard. Aside from lots of other flaws I have discovered with this card and don’t have the character count to go into, it is really noisy at the top end of the gain setting. For instance, if you plug in an SM58 mic, and crank up the preamp gain to the proper setting, preamp hiss is very audible. So I wouldn’t get it if you were planning on doing any audio recording. Rubbish!!!
You may find it adequate if you are a DJ.

great review, may pick one of these up next week. A very cheap product considering all the features. the audio quality is great too as you say you’re actually using it to record your voice.
