Quigg Lawrence, advertising man and recording studio partner, dies at 74
Raymond Quigg Lawrence was a creative light who could write clever advertising copy as well as play his mandolin or sing backup if a jingle needed to be recorded. As far as Richmond was concerned, “he could be said to have founded the entire music business [of advertising]—jingles, soundtrack for commercials,“ said Nicholas “Nick” Colleran, co-owner of Acoustics First.
