Ok so my question is, if i download say 4 songs of beatport (or another digital music site), ready to mix, record and upload to youtube. Would i get done in for copyright? Or would i be alright aslong as i put in the description something like; ‘these songs have been mixed for entertainment purposes only’? Help would be appreciated.

I am a fan of Nirvana and I just wondered if anyone knows just how much he knew about music theory. I play the guitar and I know how to play the songs and most of the songs follow the “rules” of music theory. Just curious.
Being self taught doesn’t mean you can’t know music theory. I am self taught and I taught myself music theory by reading books.

I’m a bit confused with intervals. My teacher keeps saying it’s wrong but I don’t really see why. I get confused with all the augmented, minor, major and diminished things. Can someone please explain?

I’ve never listened to indie music before. Yet people on here talk about it so much, what’s your opinion?

Should i try another music school first (before berklee) (in the us/ uk) ??

I want to study hip hop/ r&b production/ engineering.

N how does one prepare for the audition??
