Im trying to learn music theory, i just dont know the most effective way. They offer a class at my school, but I cant take it till fall. Im focusing more on my actual guitar playing with my instructor, but we get in the basics. Is there like a book/website type deal that can help me learn? Id prefer not just a website thats just text explaining it all, but Ill try to use anything. Thanks.

Some people say that you dont have to learn the music theory. And all you really need is to learn TABS. Im a noobie, and was wondering if i could skip learning the music theory and just learn tab. please help

I make beats using FL Studio. I realized I have a passion for this so I want to do whatever that may help me. So I’ve heard learning a instrument or theory is good. I want to learn Piano, now should I teach myself piano 1st or theory??
