Abbey Road is a very famous recording studio where the Beatles recorded their albums, in North London. There is also a famous road pedestrian crossing outside Abbey Road which is on one of the Beatles albums. Channel 4 in UK have had a series where artists perform some of their songs at the Abbey Road studios and it is filmed and shown on TV. That is what Michael is doing.
