This is sorta a cheap way of doing this, so I apologize, but the goal is to show musicians out there, that you can start with this, and end it in a major studio, and have amazing results

In this video, Atlanta Institute of Music recording instructor Randy Hoexter teaches us how to effectively isolate and remove unwanted tones from a prerecorded kick drum audio track. Using subtractive EQ concepts, Randy shows us how to quickly and easily reveal the true fundamental sound of the kick drum in our recordings.

The course webpage at ssngai.byethost14.com offers narrated versions of the introductory Lessons 0, 1, 2, and 3. In the optional preliminary Lesson Zero, you&#8217;ll come to appreciate the sense of hearing and music that God has designed in us. Hear some audio demonstrations, and discover what makes music and harmony so satisfying. You&#8217;ll realize that there is science behind even the most sublime art! Note: Though some details of this lesson benefit from a familiarity with music theory, knowledge of the subject is generally unnecessary for this course. Sorry for the poorly functioning animations; they fared badly in the video conversion.</p>
