In this Microlecture, Jason de Wilde shows us how to record an entire drum kit with just a single microphone. The mike technique is called the Tchad Blake method, and using a single cardoid microphone (in this case a Rode K2), Jason is able to record a kit that well-balanced and professional sounding. Pastor Troy Studio Session

Untill I get to making an ebook on how I made this , this is my studio in a roadcase. I designed and built this mobile studio for personal music recording. I made this video to inspire others that they too can make this very useful midi studio aswell. This a Protools (Mbox2Pro) set up with an Apple Macbook 2hz. It works fantastic. Within this roadcase are my Yamaha Hs40 studio monitors, my microphones and their stands..generally all I’ll need to record crystal clear music . Inside as well I have installed a 1 TB hardrive.

I have a new 13inch Macbook Pro so I obviously have Garage Band but I also bought Pro Tools and Logic Studio. I just got an audio interface and want to start recording and editing music but I’m not sure where I should start. Should I start learning GarageBand to understand the basics and then switch to ProTools/Logic or should I just start with one of the two more advanced programs?

How much would cost a studio which purpose is to mastering/creating or recording audio/music? I mean how much would the hardware cost?
Mastering not mixing messed up.
